Our first rough plan is drawn. Just a few hightlights from stuff I do want to visit, roads I do want to drive, people I do want to visit. We are flexible, because only the hotel in Las Vegas is booked in advance.
I do hope that I can stay a few nights with people from couchsurfing, especially since visiting locals has always doubled the pleasure for me.
I can stay already with Larry in Glendale, with Perry and Rebecca in Apache Junction (both in the Phoenix-area), with Gary in Sierra Vista (close to the Mexican border) and with Howard en Christina in Sandy City (Salt Lake City area). So it is only the distance between Phoenix and Salt Lake City that has no couch for us waiting.
And Ed in Maricopa will teach me hanggliding.
I have already National Parks, trainrides, ghostcitys, caves, scenerytours, photografic beauties in the planning.
The stuff that is not clear yet is when to do what :) But hey, we still have 2 months.

quite a challenge
Here in Flanders we say 'nogal een boterham' which means translated that you are planning to see quite a lot in a short time. I hope everything works out fine and remember what Kinga always said : 'planning is for architect'. The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry, so be prepared for lots of flexibility
Re: quite a challenge
I know is is a real chalenge.
But he, it's me. When I have focal points, it's so mutch easyer to deviate, then just go by the flow...
