Gday all,
Clare here, I will make this entry short and sweet as the computer keeps logging itself out as it pleases..
where to start though! well, at this moment and for the past 4 days I have been feeling like death warmed up, or the dogs breakfast as Tony would put it!
After travelling thousands of miles to Argentina by plane, then nearly 2 thousand kms by bus to Iguazu falls (our whole reason for visiting Argentina!) I woke up on the day of our seeing the falls feeling like crap.. fantastic! there was no way I was missing this experience though so off we went in the morning with 20 others to the national park, our guide who was a giant of a man then informs us we have to wait to join 60 others and we go as a group, wasnt going to argue with him! but it was like visiting Machu Picchu again, half the world is there too! but for very good reason, these falls are known as the widest in the world and form a border between Paraguay,Brasil and Argentina, situated in sub tropical rainforest. we visited from the Argentine side, could not cross into Brasil as we did not organise a visa but no matter we got a fantastic view from Argentina! the first one we went to is the most talked about, Garganta Del Diablo or "Devils throat" in english, we walked along steel suspended bridges over the river for some time, the first view was the air filled with water spray, the noise and gap in the earth.. then reaching close to the edge of the falls on the bridge was the view of devils throat and I can only explain it as a jaw dropping "WOW" experience! it was somewhat amazing! the thundering noise, the volume of water, the bottom which could not be seen because of the enourmous white froth everywhere! people everywhere trying to get there pics taken with nobody else in them.. impossible! there were proffesionals there with ladders taking pics and selling them, even they had trouble! we purchased ourselves 5 pics on a disc and you can see one of those on the previous page. we then spent the rest of the day walking around the rest of the falls on suspended bridges towards the bottom and up the top, there was heaps to see and from different angles. we decided not to go on the crazy boat ride undereath the spray of the falls and walked back instead. It was such an experience I had almost not noticed how ill i was feeling.. the next day, 20hours back to Buenos Aires on the bus, which proved difficult feeling like death and the result im sure is a sicker me!
Anyway, thats my short and sweet version imagine the long one!
Tomorrow we are off to the country Uruguay for 2 days, by the slow boat across the channel which takes 3 hours, hopefully I wake up feeling like my breakfast and not the dogs!
stay tuned all and look out for more pics from Iguazu falls, the best waterfalls in the world!
Adios y Saludos mi Amigos

Thx guys
Hello travelers, I always enjoy logging in from time to time to see what you have done and scene. I meant to ask you Clare if you had a video camera with you it would have made a brilliant film to see and hear and feel that much water moving around and under you on those suspensions bridges.

Re: Thx guys
Hey D9, great to hear from you and that you enjoy reading our travels! I took a little vid clip of the falls on my camera, not fantastic but enough to show people what it was like and enough to give me a sweet reminder what it was like!
take care dunks
Love Clare
