Said goodbye to Adrian and she said she'd let us know the next time she is in Belfast.  We got on our bus and had a very picturesque journey through the Andes to Bariloche.  This area of the world really reminded us of the Austria and Switzerland you see on TV.  Lots of lakes, forests and snow-capped mountains.  All round very beautiful.

Bariloche is known as a holiday town for Argentines and there is so much to do there you could spend weeks exploring the area.  However we arrived quite tired from the previous 3 months of traveling and on seeing our accommodation decided this would be a great place to put our feet up for a while and relax (I'm sure you can all sympathize).  We had thought we were getting a double room but on arrival we were shown to a gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage with a small garden for the same price!  In case you are wondering the price was 8 pounds a night for the whole cottage hee hee  The hostel and cottages themselves were in the foothill of the mountains overlooking a beautiful shining lake and just outside the town so it was very peaceful.  We spent most of our days there just walking around taking in the surroundings, buying chocolate from the famous chocolaterias (good, but not as good as Cadbury's) making fabulous dinners and enjoying the hostel facilities, especially the jacuzzi and sauna.  Just the perfect place to relax and plan the next part of our adventure.
