After getting an appointment at the orthopaedist, x-ray, blood- and heart tests, I am happy to take my operation.  Moring in, evening out: general anaesthesia. Hubby holds my hand before the operation and is in my room when I come back. The only creepy thing is the new procedure of binding the patient while she is still awake. AND: putting a big bucket under my knee, to catch the blood.
Dr Jespers, who operated me, drops by at 17 and sends me home. I am lucky he found me a slot in his agenda: he is a well known sports doctor.
I am supposed to go to my GP the next day to replace the band aid but I do not plan to. I'll do that myself. But, when I take the band aid off, Dr T want me to see the doctor anyway. Ann is called to check it out and disappears immediately with a: 'yuk!' Is it that bad???
I need to go to my castle today!
