We arrive at our first winery before 10: Simonsig and start with a dry sparkling wine, as you do at that time of the morning. And are immediately hooked; the Kaapse Vonkel. Greta buys 2 bottles of them for 'our' Christmas eve. AND 2 bottles of red. After all she misbehaved big time on the royal day! Although big, fancy and expensive, we did come here because we want access to the tasted wines, once we are back home. The little ones do not export so much.

Second one is Laibach, where we meet Francois, who goes to France often for wine happenings. More bottles are bought.

Le Bonheur is the next one: they only have 4 kinds, all white.

Villera is next, where Broekske buys port for her brother.

Spier looks a bit like Disney land. Still: more buying. We have lunch here with ... a bottle of wine of course and liar dice.

Kleine Zalze is the last one. Pretty jolly but we have enough wine for another week !

We all need a snooze after that.

In the evening, we find a cozy restaurant with a nice garden. Food and games.

Tomorrow we go to Cape Town, where we .... But you will see that tomorrow.
