.. and the news is: the bites are not better. They are horrible!

We go diving, in the water the itch is bearable. Between the 2 dives, we try to move. Nooooo, the room becomes free tomorrow, not today. Even I do not become upset with that stuff here anymore.

Second dive. And nice dives, it are! I tell the manager of the diving shop (Helen), I liked them. She looks at me blankly. If I would own a diving shop, every customer would get a big smile, a good morning AND I would want to know the feedback afterwards. Satisfied customers come back. Unsatisfied costumers can tell me what they did not like and I can do something about it. Or is this just me? I had vague plans to go for my dive master degree. I did not know it takes 3 weeks! This would have been a perfect place to do it. Not too expensive, nor the hotel, nor the course. Hubby like sit here. He has internet.

But as the days go along, I really really start disliking the Helen profoundly. Apart from the fact she is just NOT nice to her costumers, she is carrying a baby. Nothing wrong with babies. I just do not like them in my face all the time. And this one is attached to her hip. No, really, if the expression would not have been invented yet, this would be the occasion. She carries that baby 24/7. There is no stool or chair to put it down for even a minute. When she had to give me my gear, I felt guilty she had to do that with one hand, carrying the baby. She also constantly talks baby talk to him (or her): kissie kissie for the mammie, yumyumyumyumyum. While I want to ask: do you sell diving logs?

Of course, I AM irritated by the itch. And Dr T is always happy if I bite someone else if in a bad mood. That way, I do not bite him.

There is NO pharmacy in town but medicines are sold in supermarkets. We go to the biggest.

I show the lady at the counter (who is counting her money) my bites. She says something I do not understand. I try to explain in Spanish, I need a cream against the itch. She is still counting money saying: 'coming'. ??? Ah, someone else is coming. Someone else is (if possible) still more cranky. I start explaining. She does not even look at me. She put a cream in my hands. It looks like tiger balm. Whatever is written on there is NOT what it is for. She puts a second cream in my hand and disappears. This says: cactus juice, miracle against itch and burning: bingo!

The only miracle is that we spent money on something SO useless. Does not help. Nada!
We go for a meal at a very nice place in the evening but the itch is driving me nuts.

I try an early night but spent half of the night under the shower: this relieves the itch.

Tomorrow better?
