We have a 'free' day in Ambergris, which we spend useful. Book our flights to Placencia, send a confirmation to the hotel. Chat with friends. Shopping, also for hair dye. Not that I have gray hair... . Dyeing hair, which is such a mess. Better in a hotel than at home! Since we are not diving today or tomorrow: paint my nails blood red. They are like claws by now and look very fake in red.

We go for a couple of beers, play cards and go for diner on the beach.

Next day: check out and check in to the plane.

It is full! It has 3 seats in the very back, which I did not see on our way here and ... the co-pilot's place is also a passenger's seat! The 3 lightest people go in the back (me one of them, to my surprise) but big hubby in the front.

Safety rules do not apply here, you can call while flying:.

We fly to Belize City, 1 hour interval. Fly to Placencia, via Dangriga. Land, take off, land, take off.

We arrive in Placencia at noon and take a cab to the hotel. It is on the beach, has 2 big beds and airco but not the promised internet. It is the smallest 'middle of nowhere' town I ever staid in.

We find diving shop and book our whale shark diving for tomorrow, nice resto and internet, but with Macs!!! We play cards all evening in the restaurant on the beach connected to our hotel.
Veeeery excited for tomorrow:
