I spend a nice couple of hours at and in the swimming pool and then go to the reception: chatting to my family and friends. Greta and Ann call: joepi!!! I see my little niece on the webcam: she is so cuuuuuuute. At 2, my hubby shows up, still tired and hungry. We go more or less next door for a sandwich
We move to the pool area. Find a lizard. We l.ve lizards!
We toss everything in the room and run to the Jacuzzi
It is almost midnight when we are back in the room. We inquired for diving tomorrow but the guy in the shop did not have a lot of info and advised us to come back at 7 tomorrow. 7! Hubby comes to bed at 5 and when the alarm clock goes off at 7, I recommend postponing the diving for one more day. You have to be a bit awake to dive. Although: in Jamaica we go diving twice a day, every day. Tired. Hung over. I managed there to go diving without mask and with 2 masks: I have skills! But in Jamaica, the diving is included in the resort. NOT going would be throwing money away and we do NOT throw money away! So: we turn off the alarm clock and go back to sleep.
The sleeping disorder is also affecting me while travelling. If one is up and the other one tries to sleep in the same room, it is not easy. And I am a very light sleeper. Although hubby uses headphones, I can still hear stuff. I see his light moving. Do you know the light: Petzl?
The fridge opening, Tony going to the bathroom; I wake up at least twice an hour and sometimes I do not fall asleep easily afterwards. But that is peanuts compared to what Hubby is suffering with his sleeping disorder. Sometimes he does NOT sleep for days in a row. And still performs. I mean like in meetings and workings, you dirty minds!!! What you are thinking off: he always performs... .Perfectly!
I wake up at 9 and go to the reception, mailing with my girlfriend Greta better known as Broekske. Send some mails and received a long nice mail from my colleague Franske. Not everybody forgot about me.
At noon I go to the room, deliver the laptop (no Broekske, there is no need for the people to know) and go and get coffee and sandwiches. I rudely wake up hubby. We have our coffee and snacks and go booking our dives for the coming 5 days. The Canadian owner will charge us 15 percent more if we pay with Visa: I hate it! Back to the room. I forgot my hand back at the diving shop: how stupid can you get??? What a luck: it is still there! To the swimming pool with our books and MP3 players, where we spend veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery nice hours, sunning, singing, swimming and hugging: life is good, s.ckers!
No storm today. I feel like pasta and hubby finds a pasta resto in downtown. We take a taxi, have pasta, me with scampi's, Dr T Bolognese and we have serious discussions about ... the pope, would you believe? We do not see eye to eye. Although, sometimes Dr T just makes an absurd statement for fun, to see how you are going to prove that the theory is wrong. Disagreeing and holding hands is one of the most difficult things in relationships I think (any relationships, l.ve, friendship and professional). It is human nature to try to convince the other and if it does not work, we get irritated. But hubby and me we manage. We take a taxi back round midnight, I go to bed with my book, Tony plays computer games when all of a sudden...
Rest of pictures: our hotel.
And have you ever seen such a funny bath?
