We are going to our backpacker hotel today, remember?
Hubby is walking around before 9, I fell asleep again after a bad night because of my cold. We go for breakkie at 10 and then leave on foot, backpacks on our backs, as you do, to check into a backpackers hotel. We did not pay a lot of attention to the remark: yes we have A-C, at night, but when we check in it is f.... hot! I write for 2 hours. Then it get unbearable hot. Hubby wants to take a shower: no water! OK, let's go to the beach. It is ALL they say about Cancun. The sand is powder, white and cool, even in the burning hot sun. The colors are amazing. Pleasant afternoon but now my cold also went to my nose: coughing AND blowing my nose.
So, we go back to downtown. And are happy to have water. Water? Coming out of at least 5 holes of the shower.. . Luckily I have long and sharp nails and after scratching the shower head, I have at least: 12! We find a Canadian pub where the beers are 1 Dollar. Meal on a terrace, where I really dislike the waiter. I feel miserable with my cold and we go back to the room at 22h. I lay down but it is too hot even not to move, where is that f.. A-C? Hubby goes to the garden and meets a guy from Perth. 23h: A-C: what a relieve. More thumbnails ...
