On the train to Gatwick I realize I left all my jewelery in the 'hotel'. It is not as bad as it sounds: it is fantasy stuff but most of it I got from SM and it is all the jewelery I took. My boyfriends fixes it by calling the hotel and they promise to send it to Didi (thank you, Didi).
The plane is absolutely packed and full of children; they are all around me!!!!!!!! BA is not bad, I would even say the food is nice, would you believe. But still: a flight from hell, so bad that I ask the people behind me whether they can please ask their kid to stop kicking my back.

But: we land in time (17h local), the sun shines, let's pick up our luggage and go for our rental convertible.

But, no: this is no longer departure but arrival, so this is for the next mail!
