For all our old friends who want to see the latest entry, and what happened to Marina when she jumped out of a plane in Guam, click the image below:

If you what to skip forward to some of the places we especially liked, try:
Florida, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Jamaica, Curaçao, South Africa, Borneo, Micronesia.

Or click on one of the pictures below:

Who are we?
For all anyone who wants to find out more about us:

Eighteen months ago we both we both went from loving our jobs to hating our jobs.

We both decided to quit our jobs, and travel for a while. We were living in Belgium, and plan to end up in Australia. But we don't really mind how long it takes to make this journey. This might us take a couple of years: there are lots of places for us to explore.

Our friends asked us to keep in touch, and Marina (that's the pretty girl on the left) likes to write. So she has been sending regular emails to our friends with stories about what happens to us. This would go on to become travelogue your are now reading (the email list is still running).

These emails must get through corporate spam filters. So words like "love" will necessarily have some vowels replaced with dots, to become "l.ve".

Marina likes to write in English although her mother tongue is Flemish (she is Belgian, and an Air Traffic Controller).

My contribution to the text is this one article (that's me on the right, I am an Aussie, an Engineer, aka "Dr. T"). I don't get to read the blog entries until they have already been sent out.

In choosing were to go, we are influenced by some common themes: scuba diving, Hard Rock Cafes, roller-blading, fine food, naturism.

Scuba Diving
We have made around 250 dives so far on this journey, at some wonderful locations. For the first year, we didn't take photos underwater, so you will mainly see photos onshore or on boats. Only the later dives have underwater pictures. The dives so far have included the famous "Blue Hole" in Belize, the Jules Verne Underwater hotel, whale sharks, Sting Ray City, ship wrecks, plane wrecks, sharks, and beautiful reefs around the Caribbean. To jump to a location, click on the below below:

Hard Rock Cafes
Marina is fanatic about Hard Rock Cafes, and will happily drive 500km just to visit a new one. She has been to 42 so far, and each time buys a couple of items of merchandise, usually pins. Click on the pictures below:

Roller-Blading
We both enjoy inline skating, and took our blades with us, even though they consume a significant part of our weight allowance. Click on us rollerblading here:

Food & Wine
Fine dining is a passion of Marina, she is also a qualified chef from one of the best schools in Belgium, (Spermalie); and follows the Bourgondian lifestyle for which Belgians are known. From the photos you might easily think we spend all our time in restaurants:
