Up at 6,00 for tai Chi at 6.30 with Mr Chin. Mr. Chin also plays Vietnamese instruments after our meals.
Tai Chi was great fun but Hels was a bit muddled as she tried to follow Mr Chin as he did say " Your way....my way" when explaining and you know what Hels is like with her left and right. I had a good laufgh at her until dear Mr Chin manipulated my body into the correct posistion with a wagging finger. Enjoyed the experience with the 3 others who managed to rise, After the exercise we went by boat to the "Surprise Caves". We entered the first chamber and were unimpressed, entered the second chamber and were taken aback but when we entered the third chamber it was truly massive. Our guides were able to point out various rock crops that looked like "the two lovers, the alligator and the turtle". I pointed out a rock arrangement that looked like a scarecrow with a huge pumpkin head. The guides were very impressed , so if you ever visit these caves at Hulong Bay and a guide points out a scarecrow you know who to thank. Long and slow boat ride back to Hulong Bay pier and then a three hour bus journey back to Hanoi but the trip went very quickly. Back to our Hostel in a better room!! Visited Internet cafe and updated blog and then said we would go to the first interesting place for eats....happened to be next door.....a lovely French restuarant......expensive in Asian terms but fantastic food and a lovely bottle of Rose, What a way to finish the first of Helens birthday money treats.
