Today Noah and I went to the Muskegon Air Fair. Having never been to an Air Fare before, I wasn't sure what to expect. It turned out not to be too hot, which was good since everything here is out in the sun. The location definitely could have used more shaded areas.

Noah and I walked around and looked at all the planes on the tarmac. I am not familiar with any of the names of the aircraft we saw, but there had to have been at least one of everything. The airmen and air force were well represented as well as WWII warbirds and helicopters. Noah got to sit inside a couple of different choppers.

We also ate some good "fair food." We had a gyro, french fries and a fried twinkie. That's right, a fried twinkie. If you haven't had one, head to your nearest fair and try one as soon as possible.

We stayed for a little bit of the show. We saw the skywriter and the warbirds demonstration. Once they started the WWII reenactment, it became a little too loud and scary for Noah (he's 2 1/2) But it was neat to see them "bomb" the other planes. Maybe next time when Noah's a little older, he'll enjoy it more. But I enjoyed what I saw.
