Upon learning of a group travelling to Mexico, I inquired about joining them and began to meet on Sunday afternoons a few months prior to the trip.
The group was well-organized and had been making these mission trips for over 25 years.
My teen-aged son joined me on the week-long journey to Tepeyac, Coahuila, Mexico.
We stayed in Eagle Pass and crossed the border each day to visit Tepeyac in the afternoon and Nava in the evening.
It was a wonderful experience and the people in Tepeyac were friendly and very happy to see us.
We did a Vacation Bible School for the children and each day we did a puppet show and each child received a home-made snow cone before they left.
