What I did
The Wilds and Hillbilly Hotdog
endangered species from around the world living in natural, open-range
habitat, as well as home to hundreds of indigenous species." Why hadn't we heard of this before?? It's associated with Jack Hanna of the Columbus Zoo. You don't have to zip line. A 2 1/2 hour trip in an open bus is also offered. What an experience.
So, we picked up Ella Jane in Wheeling and off to Marietta we went. We spent the night there before heading out early to zip line in The Wilds. What a day we had. It was pretty exciting.
That evening we returned to Wheeling and dropped Ella Jane off at home. The following day we headed to Hillbilly Hotdog Heaven. Kev and Larry had seen it rated as # 15 of the top 100 places in the U.S. to get good food. Plus, it was also featured in Guy Fieri's Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins. We didn't try the "homewrecker" but did go for the hamburgers - 1 and 2 pounders. Needless to say, we didn't eat again that day!
We were back home by Friday but another great trip with great friends!
