I have taken alot of pictures of camp and thought i'd put them on here so you get a good understanding and feeling of where i have been staying at camp, and the places i have walked around during my hours off and such. Anyway, every morning we line up at listen to the camp director talk about the day ahead. This takes place at 7.45am and 5.45pm, before breakfast and dinner. Kids can tell jokes, and the counselors have been in a competition called "Robot Wars" where we verse each other one on one moving and making sounds like robots, but battling each other by firing rockets or whatever our robot does and the kids say who they want to win after we perform it in front of them. I thankfully didn't advance past the first round, but Erin and Matt are in the final which is this week so it will be funny to watch that. Especially because Erin, an Aussie has been mortified every time she has had to do it, but she keeps managing on winning. I battled her in the first round and we pretended to be Australian animals-Kangaroo and Emu. So she punched and kicked and bounced and i had my arm in the shape of an emu neck and head and 'death pecked' her with my hand. It was funny and the kids like it, but as you can see by this its really embarrasing at the same time :).
We have dinner in the dining center in Founders Hall. Its a general cafeteria like you'd expect anywhere with salad bar, hot food bar, drinks, and dessert. I just wish the food had been better that's all.
After that i do programming for the week and that night, so it could be making signs, organising kids into groups, going out to the mall and buying what we need etc. So there's generally alot to do in a day. At 2.30 some of us do activities so i have done, clay, card making, painting, cardboard art, internet and games, and duck pond visits where we feed the ducks and let the kids play in a playground, and they really enjoy that which is good.
At 4pm i am in the snack shop with Erin. We sell candy and chips and drinks and icy pole super doopers to the campers. We buy stuff from a shop that sells in bulk so we are profiting but its all going to a good cause...the Cabrini directors are getting blue hoodies made with Cabrini 2008 on them and then we will have one word written on the back...its all still being decided but its nice to have something to keep. But we generally sell candy and drinks for $1 and chips for 75c, icy poles for 25c so you get how it goes. We sell Oreos, kit kats, twix, m&ms, skittles, doritos, cheetos, lays, all of that stuff we have at home.
We eat dinner at 6pm, which is basically what we have for lunch anyway...boring meals really. Then we have an evening activity as you know and curfew for the kids is 10pm. We have a staff meeting at 10.30 and then either go out, go to bed or are on duty till 1am. If we go out we generally go to a bar and meet up with the other counselors from other camps of Julian Krinsky at Haverford, but we get to the bar at 11.15 and have to leave at 12.45 to be back by 1am. Its a pain, and don't seem worth going out but its a break so we do it sometimes.

Anyway, just thought i'd give you the run-down since i haven't done it as yet really, especially with pictures. So hope you get an idea about how pretty it is where i am and how nice it is to be in a college like Cabrini.

Love you all,
Toni xoxo
