As we wound the bikes around the streets of Cochabamba looking for a hostal with a courtyard for the bikes, my engine died and wouldn't start. The kick start felt really crunchy and just wrong. Angry and tired I pushed the bike for about 10 mins to the hostal. What could be wrong now? We were so close to the end as well. We dumped the bags and went to look at the bike, gave it a through internal clean up, the spark plug was filthy, gave it a bit more TLC and it seemed fine! I guess the bike was just tired as well! Cochabamba is a bustling market town and we spent a day exploring then went and got the bikes washed, oil changed ready and for La Paz. We had been discussing prices and costs and what we would accept for them. The pound has dropped so much getting US dollars in payment meant even though we would be dropping the price we wouldn't make too much of a loss. We were still on camping body clocks and going to bed at sunset and getting up at sunrise and after 2 nights in Cochabamba we were up, packed and on the road by 8am, heading for La Paz.
