As soon as we rocked up to the Waffle House outside Georgia, we truly knew we where in the Deep South. It was almost like a different country, we saw some rednecks, confederate flags, the rest of the workers moved at a sloth like place. The food came in massive portions of of Waffles, Sausage, eggs, southern hash browns (delicious) and 'grits' (disgusting), obviously came with maple syrup. The other thing that made these people stand out was the average bum size, which was nothing short of huge.

Savannah is quite possibly the most beautful city we've visited, contrary to the rest of the country the buildings are old, well preserved and there is greenery and parks on every corner. We started the day with a (not so) early morning work out in the park to a live Beatles tribute act playing in the background. The park was actually pretty amazing, it had a large outdoor style stage and bands came to play free concerts every weekend through the summer. There was also a always large crowds who took advantage of the city's relaxed drinking laws that allowed them to drink outside in a clear cup.

The first evening was a funny affair, we stayed with 2 guys Chris and Eric but they where also hosting 2 colombian girls with very minimal english. We put on a movie called "The Human Centipede". Quite possibly the sickest film iv'e ever seen, however also pretty funny. (You need to watch the trailor to see why..not recommended for the parents/ the faint hearted.

Although it shouldn't really have been, what was more amusing was seeing the 2 girls reaction when the penny dropped of what was going on, they later both ran to the toilet to be sick!
