As today was hazy and damp, though quite warm, we went shopping in the morning for a new suitcase to replace Ruth's old favourite that has finally had enough. In the afternoon Tom demonstrated Adobe Photoshop Elements to Roger and Jenny and showed them how to catalog their photos in it. Jenny is an avid photographer so she now can spend many happy hours sorting and labelling her photos.
We all drove to Chichester for dinner before seeing Somerset Maugham's "The Circle" at the Chichester Theatre. This theatre looks to have been built in the 1960 timeframe. It is octagonal, with an open stage rather than the more usual proscenium arch type of theatre. It seats more than 1000 and the theatre looked full. The play was somewhat dated but also with a lot of relevance for today. Susan Hampshire (Molly in "Monarch of the Glen") was the only actor we knew. We stayed for the forum talk afterwards - just by chance it was on that night.
