This morning we visited a local lady who knew "old Mrs Stedman" and spent a couple of pleasant hours talking with her and another local who has worked in Bucknell since being evacuated to here during the War.  She remembers visiting regularly to pay rent for their land.  She was able to give us what may be the phone number for Mrs Stedman's granddaughter.  So far Tom has managed to talk to their answering machine.

In the afternoon we visited Knighton, which is a couple of miles away, in Wales.

A couple and another lady from Adelaide arrived today for the get together so the B&B is now full.
