Back to "normal" weather - cool and overcast. A good day to drive about 230 miles across England from north Wales to Knapwell near Cambridge. Fortunately we were only held up once by roadwork and there were no accidents on our route, so the trip took us 4 ½ hours. Our landlady welcomed us with a cup of tea (which Ruth actually drank) and a couple of yummy biscuits which became a late lunch for us. We were pleased to discover that we have Wi-Fi access here (sort of - the signal can be weak) so Tom spent a few hours in his latest Webmaster role, while Ruth waited patiently; and read!
Our landlady recommended a nearby restaurant, which was very pleasant and not particularly expensive. So good we may even eat there again.
