Another cold day with intermittent rain.  We went into Waterford in the morning on an unsuccessful attempt to see local birth, death and marriage records held in the Genealogical Centre.  It turns out they can only be accessed by the staff at the Centre as part of a paid commission.  The alternative is to see them in Dublin.  After this disappointment we spent the afternoon at Waterford crystal taking a tour which gave us an idea of how the products are made and looking at the selection of crystal on sale in the shop.
