Today was actually a pleasant day, cool, sunny and calm.  We visited Pembroke Castle in the morning; it's where the first of the Tudor kings, Henry VII, was born.  He mother was 14 and already a widow.  Unusually the castle is a private trust which meant we were charged entry.  All the other places we had visited in Wales were managed by the Welsh government with free entry.
