Don't worry this a short entry, we think you'll enjoy the photos more.
Just to explain that we went on a three day 'budget' safari to the Maasai Mara with a company called Planet Safaris from Nairobi. We happened to go at the time of the 'great migration' of Wildebeast which was amazing to see. We had great fun because we were in a group with three other English people we had met in Nairobi. They were Jon (who has been travelling in Africa for almost 2 years!) and his sister Michelle and their cousin Leanne who had both come out to Kenya to see Jon. We enjoyed card games by lantern light in the campsite after the day's game drives where there was no electricity but there was one good toilet! The tents were dodgy, with broken zips and leaks, but it was budget travel in Africa!
You'll see from the photos the wildlife we saw.
On our return I (Tom) fell ill and had to spend three days in bed and on the toilet! A round of antibiotics later and I was better. My shorts fit a lot more comfortably now. It meant we stayed in Nairobi longer than planned but eventually we travelled onto Mombasa.

Trying not to be jealous
Glad you're both better - and what a blessing you didn't get ill during the safari. The pics look great, you obviously saw some fantastic sights. I'm trying not to be envious...
