It was raining, and Ina got up early to go and look for a coat with Emmy. They got me some fresh 'Mekitzi' for breakfast, it was really tasty.

We picked up a rental car and around noon we headed for Pamporovo. On the way we took a wrong turn and we ended up at this hill on which there was some sort of archeological excavation. It was Sunday and it was raining and there was a lonely funny man doing his guard shift. We asked him for direction and once he heard we were from Israel he couldn't stop praising 'Baron Tours' and said goodbye in Hebrew "Shalom, Lehitraot!"

When we arrived in Pamporovo and checked out all sorts of hotels. We ended up sleeping in a brand new one called "Snejanka" and we took a fancy two story suit with a great view, a kitchen and a fireplace for 60lev.

In the afternoon we went to the small town near by to the resort called Smolyan. In the evening we dined in a small restaurant inside the resort which had all sorts of authentic Bulgarian dishes. After that we went back to the hotel watched some TV ("When Harry met Sally" was on... in English even!) and I made use of the fire place.

Pamporovo/Caves - In the morning we left the resort, and headed for two caves we wanted to see. On the way to the first cave we passed by a small and picturesque entirely authentic village called "Shiroka Luka".

After that we finally found the cave called "Diavolsko Gurlo" (The Devil's Throat). The tour guide explained how its said that this is Hades' cave, where Orpheus went to take Euridichee from. After the tour was over we had to climb what seemed to be an endless stair case to exit the cave. The plan was to go and look for the second cave in the area "Yagodinska", but since Ina was really tired from the devil's throat, we just drove off to a nice canyon on the way called "Trigrad".

At the end of day we headed back to Plovdiv via a long but beautiful road.
