Where I stayed

After the weddings, a bus took the foreigners and friends to a resort for an overnight party highlighted with a BBQ where three grills were utilized. A good time was had by all until the early hours.
It is interesting seeing rice growing in the fields with corn getting the higher ground. We took the Metro back into town so people could catch planes for holidays or home.
Did lots more walking around Seoul neighbourhoods and have blisters to prove it. Also went to dinners (definitely easier than cooking) and more drinking to while away the remaining hours.
I left on Tuesday using the Metro to get to the airport. Aaron and Sue are departing on Wednesday for at least a month of backpacking in India, starting in Delhi. With new in-laws, I will have to start working on my Korean which is currently non-existent.
Overall, I am extremely happy that my son found such a wonderful bride and wish them many happy years together.

  • Emergencies here dial 119.
  • Bathrooms are the shower – everything gets wet and one needs bathroom shoes.
  • No tipping in Korea – it is frowned upon.
