Having swiftly left Sao Paulo, the 16 hour night bus journey went fairly well, until I was woken by a Denzel Washington film in Portuguese at full blasts after I eventually worked out that I could switch the volume off on my overhead I was happy. Thought I was going to miss my bus due to some confusion at Sao Paulo but it was a misunderstanding due to the bus being half an hour late.
I am in Foz de Iguacu at the moment, the stopping point for visits to the famous Iguazu Falls, I am visiting the Brazilian side tomorrow with a Swiss guy from Zurich I met on the bus before visiting the Argentinian side the day after. Must make sure I have plenty of memory and plenty of batteries for the beast that is my 3.2 megapixel digital camera.
The hostel is bizarre, it is more like a resort with a swimming pool and football, volleyball all stuff that I probably will not use. There seems to be more staff than guests and they all wear these orange Polo Shirts making this place (with its cabins) seem more like a Camp America export, I hope to some degree that is where the similarities end!
