We arrived in Brisbane and headed to a really cool hostel ready to look for some work. The weather wasn't great so we started searching but didn't have much luck. The hostel was really cool and it had an irish pub as the bar.

Tom's wish when we were in Sydney was to cuddle a koala bear so we headed out of the city to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. It was a great day out as there were loads of koala's - including mummy's and thier joeys!!!There was lots of native Australian animals and a area where plenty of kangaoos roamed around. We could go inside and feed the animals. They were so placid just relaxing in the sun that we could get really close feed them

. Tom had to get some funny pics of him boxing one too. We went to a koala presentation and of course paid the extra for a picture cuddling the koalas!! That evening I picked up a leaflet about a job at a sales and marketing company.26/09/08 - 29/09/08
We went to a interview on Friday afternoon at Smart Group and decided we'd give it a go so we were due to start the following tuesday. The weekend was great weather so we just chilled out at the Brisbane artificial lagoon/beach. We also went hostel/apartment hunting near to where our new job was starting and luckily found a huge room with office space which we moved into on Sunday!!
