Hi all,

Not a lot to say about Sucre I'm afraid. It is the constitutional capital of Bolivia so unlike the barren, derelict towns we have previously visited, Sucre is a Spanish city full of colonial, white buildings and narrow streets that reflect Andalusian culture. Sucre lies at an altitude of 2750m (9,000 ft) so it has a cool temperate climate year-round. We stayed here for 2 nights visiting the indigenous colourful markets (see pics) eating and drinking lots of local produce (yum). Our favourite was the freshly made fresh fruit milkshakes (Jugos con Leche) we had daily (including kiwi, pineapple, banana, strawberry and blackberry....ok this works out more than one a day but they were so nice and only cost 30p!!).
