Did some shopping in Seward in the morning. Girls said it was the best of the trip so far. It was raining hard.
We all took a raft down the Kenai River. It was fun. We saw a few eagles and lots of other birds. Also, many salmon fishermen. Everyone did good shooting the class II rapids.
Drove on to Homer. Checked in at the bear viewing office to sign our releases for tommorows adventure. Weather good now. Checked in to Lands End. Great place. 5 BR house at the end of Homer Spit. Unbelievable views of water and mountains. Went for fabulous pizza at Fat Olives.

Love the group shot of everybody with their life jackets. Sounds like another great day. Good luck with the bears.

Such Bravery!
Thought I was good going down a snowy mountain on an innertube in Quebec, but I thing you take the cake, my cousin, going down the rapids!!!! That picture of the eagle is postcard perfect. OK, is it real or did you perch a stuffed bird on the ledge???
