We left Portage la Prarie heading north and west on the Yellowhead Highway. The ride was scenic through very flat prarie, dotted with fields of wheat and brilliant yellow canola. Stopped for gas and lunch ay Wadena, Saskatchewan. Suprisingly good food and full of people for a place out in nowhere. We learned about Almighty Voice while stopping for a rest at the place he killed a mounty. Arrived early in Prince Albert National Park. Took a walk around town and now looking out the window at the sun setting over Waskesiu Lake.
