Realised all to quickly why we were worried bout hostels again...people coming in at all hours waking you up isn't too bad as you can just roll over and go back to sleep, but morons who listen to their loud music whilst rustling all their plastic bags as they repack their rucksack as 7am are not nice people! They need a lesson in hostel etiquette.

After our morning trauma we crawled out of bed to find food and tommy some tramping shoes as his trainers had finally died. He now had shoes made from car tyres, which apparently can squeal if you turn fast!!

Our first sight of the day was Auckland Museum, but finding it proved a little tricky. Eventually we arrived right in the middle of a ukulele appreciation concert. Interesting and surprisingly very popular! We had to leave them to see a tradional Maori welcome and culture show, which was brilliant especially as Julesy had to get up on stage and show off her poi skills! She only whacked herself in the face once!! Highlight was getting to see our first Haka performance...scary man!

Museum was good, but far too much for a lazy Sunday afternoon, so with a few exhibitions neglected we strolled home for "Wattie's Very Special Soup"
