Another jam packed day of sightseeing in Singapore!! We started off at Raffles where we had a nose around the shops, restaurants, bars and hotel lobby but unfortunately Tom was not dressed correctly so after getting chucked out the hotel lobby we thought we better move on. We wandered up to Suntec mall to see the world's largest fountain where we also read about our Chinese horoscopes for the coming year, check out the pics for both our animals as they are quite appropriate!!

After a cultural meal at Deli France we headed down to the river to take all the pics we missed yesterday. Then it was back on the tube to go to Arab St and Little India. Neither were quite as we expected as Arab Street was basically a lot of fabric shops and a Mosque. Little India had a street market where they seemed to be selling whatever they didn't want anymore eg. the odd pair of shoes, hats, CDs, batteries. There also seemed to be vans just pulling up and dumping items such as mattresses, electrical goods, very strange!! As we wandered in through the backstreets we also came across 3 chaps stripping down printers as fast as possible. When we stopped to take a photo they gave us a very dodgy look!

After a brief wander through little india, we jumped on a train to get out to the Night Safari. But whilst underground the clouds rolled in and it all got very wet! Not good for animal spotting. After running through the rain to get into the zoo, we had a bite to eat with a jar of coke and then thankfully the rain stopped and we could begin our safari. We thought a walk would be best first to try and avoid the crowds on the trams (lazy people) and saw almost everything we could see from fishing cats to leopards, to huge fruit bats and flying squirrels. Julia insisted we must get back for the 9pm show, and I'm glad she did because I got picked to have a pyhton on my shoulders and more importantly a money off voucher for Ben and Jerry's! To round the night off we jumped onto a tram and were luck enough to see a rhino, lions, tigers, hippos and several huge asian elephants. Overall it was one of the best experiences of our travels so far!
