Arriving back at the New World Lodge to find that there was no room available until 12.30 a load of us decided to head out to the Grand Palace to make the most of the time, although most of the girls had to spend a few minutes "getting ready" before setting off, the thought of lookin down right dirty in photos wasn't appealling! Grand Palace was heaving with tourists, but we managed to barge our way through them to see the sights. After there we headed off to have a quick bite to eat and then across the river to Wat Arun for another temple. Decided that instead of the death trap of taxis and tuktuks we'd take a water bus home, which is definately the best way to get around. When we got back our bed was ready and waiting for a refreshing afternoon nap before meeting up with the newbies for the rest of the tour down to Singapore.
The new group are okay just a lot quieter but things hopefully should improve. All the girls from the last leg of the tour were out and about so trundled off to an Irish bar for a couple of drinks with them to say goodbye. Had to head home early cos had the floating market the next day...up at 6 oh yeah!
