11 hours train ride to the town of Kaifeng in Henan province.Good timing, there is a huge nightbazar Night market in Kaifeng

 with all kinds of local food, I go for the noodle soup and a kind of fresh pears tea;the mangosteen deal I had to cancel after I found out the price of  60 yuan a kilo, thats about half of my room rate, just for a few fruits!!

in renovation for four years now, and still going on.Kaifeng was the center of the Jewish community, but there is not much left of the synagogue, but a catholic church instead, the "Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ", rather a sterile building, and completely empty.My next destination is Luoyang, 3 1/2 hours by bus from here.
