Where I stayed
sleeeping in Hostal Marith, 45 bolivianos per person (about 6,5$) for a room with bathroom,
itīs defenitely not as good as the one in Tupiza,
bus ticket from Uyuni to Potosi is 30 bolivianos (4 $) for a 7 hour-ride in the mountains,
itīs a little bit more expensive than Tupiza but thatīs because thereīs more tourists here as most of the jeep trips start here.
internet is very slow, iīll upload some pictures when i find some fast speed internet!
hey everyone, iīve just finished my 4-day jeep trip to Salar de Uyuni, it was 6 of us: a driver and a cook, Matt and Perril (sorry for misspelling) from France, Alex and me, the views were amazing and the landscapes breathtaking but it was also very tough and extreme, the whole trip was on a very high altitude (3000-5000 meters), i got sick because of that, didnīt sleep the first two nights, had headache and didnīt feel like eating, we slept in some poor guesthouses, no water, sometimes no electricity, no heating (i was freezing at the night) , no internet for 4 days-:), going to bed at 8pm and waking up at 5am (thatīs when the party is going wild in BsAs-:) it reminded me about my trip to Nepal, but in Himalayas it was nicer cause we walked and here we drove in a jeep, but despite all these difficulties i still enjoyed the trip, Bolivia is an amazing country, not so many toursits visit it, defetnitely a great backpacking experience!!!! tonight weīre sleeping in Uyuni, a small town where the jeep trips start or finish like ours, and tomorrow weīre leaving to another backapackers destination - a mine town called Potosi!!
