So the countdown to departure is now at 3 days.  In exactly 3 days from now I will be boarding the plane that will take me to Denver and then to Heathrowe.  In the last week I have moved from my home of the last 3 years into a new apartment, and I am loving the new place.  But, between now and 3 days from now there are a myriad of things that need to happen in order for this send off to go well.  I have to pack up my classroom, attend to 2 doctors' appointments, go to 4 "beauty"-oriented appoimtments (see where my priorities are :-]) and get my apartnemt in enough working order that the person taking care of my cats is not totally mortified.  'Tis going to be a long 3 days, but the preparations will be worth it!
