Yeeehaaa! Did we mention it's been raining since we left? Oh yes, today is day 5 of rain. Quite fitting since we are scheduled to do our zip-line trek today in the "rain" forest. HA! Oh my... the lack of sun is potentially getting to me (TL). So, onward on our adventure blogging then. We woke up to rain, but it's a beauty sound in the tent I must say. We had to be downtown here in Juneau by noon to leave for our trek, so we got on the road by 11. Good planning since Juneau has close to zero parking, and we could not find the place to meet. Finally a nice old lady in a "Visitor Centre" helped us by calling the people and getting the info for us. Ta da. Oh wait, one more quick thing. When we got here last night there was a note saying for us to take two sites, so we did. This morning just before we left, they told us we took two, but only should take one. Once Tina showed them the note THEY wrote, they said it was their mistake, but now we all needed to move. We didn't get to make any coffee, hense the morning started odd. Ok... back to noon. After this not finding it thing, we finally DID find the meeting spot to then hear "we don't have reservations for you. You sure it's with Alaska Canopy Adventures?" We all look at each other and say yes. Long story short, we got it all figured out, and all worked out great. Zip-lined in the rain, and it was awesome. VERY awesome.

After this great adventure, we went to a great Mexican restaurant who kept feeding us free salsa and nachos. Guess we looked hungry. After that we did some shopping and then vegged here at night. Did some laundry, and here I am now typing away as the laundry dries. Free wi-fi here (wireless internet mom). Tomorrow... glacier trek. Make sure to check out the photo site for more.
