Monday, day 3 of the cruise and day 1 at sea. The temperature was about 80 degrees when the wind would come off the ocean (a little chilly for me, but I survived).

The cabin is so dark, unless I have an alarm I don't get up until around 10:00 AM. I went to the fitness center and ran a couple of miles and did chest and triceps, with a view of the ocean. The water has been a little rough, and running on a treadmill is an experience, trying to look like you know what you are doing is hard enough without the added sway now again that makes you look like you are just a little tipsy.

We spent the majority of the day on the deck. I was so careful to put lotion on but I missed a few spots.

The pictures in this album are just some goofy pictures I took as I saw things: the clouds, to my right, to my left, the calypso band, the ocean from the deck, a picture of my botched up toe nail polish when I got a pedicure at the spa.

At about 4:00 PM we went back to the stateroom to get ready for dinner. It was the 1st of 3 formal attire for dinner. My mom got lots of compliments on her dress. The people I am standing with in the photo album are Richard and Barbara, our table mates. I'm laughing in this picture because Richard said to me "a rose between two thorns". He cracks me up. There's also a picture of mom and Barbara. My mom will kill me for putting the picture in because her eyes are 1/2 closed, but it is still a cute picture.

After dinner we saw a show in La Scala Theatre. The dancers and singers are good but the choreography and story line is a bit cheesy. I've not really been impressed with their on board shows.
