Well since my arrival I've been coined BLANCO (Whitey) and felt like a human Oreo. In an effort to remove the same, we went to Parque Norte near the BA Uni. Beautiful scenery awaits you, add the sun & total for 26 pesos for everything. There are football parks, basketball & tennis courts, loads of indoor sports and the most savage pool you can imagine; distantly similar to Mosney minus the redcoats. It boasts the largest pool in South America. A point worth noting, to enter the pool you need to go see the medics to examine your feet & decide whether you are eligible to enter so they can stop the spread of foot infections.

Because of the rising cost of living here, people look for any way to avoid excess expenses. Naturally enough almost everyone brings their own food & eats poolside. I was insisting on factor 15 for the day so I became negro (black) but under the advice of my better half it was factor 30 all the way. That said, as visible in the last photo, I now look like a boiled lobster & have gained the gait of John Wayne, smooth...
