Out with the old and no better way to do it but over a couple of sociable bevvies. Didn't want to rock the boat too much with location so tried to strike a happy medium between Loafers and Sidetrax. Although The Other Place seemed like a real contender, it was Counihans who defied the odds.

Great to see so many old faces and styles back together again. There were flares, afros, sideburns, cowboy boots and even bald patches. The celtic - rangers rivalry was even struck up again on the night with the old foe DCE8.

Anyway plenty of beer on tap, roaring and shouting and a token breast and a bun after and we were flying. It was emotional not quite Brokeback per se although the plentiful male bonding could have lead you astray. And with that, I was ready for lift off...
