Trip to Bydgoszcz and stay at Vlad's

Early in the morning Dima had to go to work and I had to go in the opposite direction to Bydgoszcz. The journey was very pleasant (it didn't rain on that day… finally). Despite all my efforts to go as slow as possible and kill the time I arrived in the city centre at around 3pm. This meant I had to wait for another 4 hours before Vlad would get back home. I spent this time in McD only because they have free WiFi there. When the time was right I left the place and started to ride approximately in the direction where Vlad lived. I didn’t even get the chance to look for his place because on the first crossing some guy on the bike came up to me and asked whether I was going in the same direction as him. He turned out to be Vlad himself – what are the chances?!! The rest of the evening was spent in Vlad’s workshop, where we were inishing some work on his BMW 650 Dakar. Then we went for a quick dinner in a local restaurant, I managed to get a good on-line deal on the plane tickets from London to Montevideo and we had to call it a day. We had to get up at 6am on Saturday to get to Gdansk on time.
