So we arrived in Charles de Gaulle Airport early in the morning and caught a bus straight to the city center. Had an expensive coffee near the Louve before heading in. Yeah yeah, it was probably the most amazing museum I have ever been to but it didn't really tickle my fancy when I spotted La Monna Lisa. An Italian painting sitting in a french Museume. The most talked about painting in the world and it took me ten minutes to actually realize I was in the same room where it lay.

Its too small, a painting that impresses me has to be at least has to be bigger then a computer screen. Having said all that, it defiantly is worth the experience going to the Louve.

We were staying with Paul's sister (Mayo) and boyfriend Ben in their apartment in Boulogue. Which is arguably not part of Paris but its only 7 minutes drive from the center. Apparently, the French like to think of Paris and only the center and everything else is strictly outside of Paris. Thats weird if you ask me.

I did my touristy bit spending roughly 3 hours waiting to reach the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was worth it in the end, only I've never seen so many tourist in my entire life.

I wanted to go see the Moulin Rouge, only it was slightly too expansive. Instead we made a compromise and went to see the Crazy Horse. Its another show similar to Moulin Rouge that's a little more arty and revealing.

Another thing that was a real highlight was this restaurant we visited. Its not a touristic destination but it's so popular amongst the locals we spent 2 hours lining up outside to be seated. Additionally, there is no menu; every body is eating the same steak and chips as everybody else. Why? Well apparently they serve the best steak in town; with a mixture of secret herbs and spices that's surprisingly mouth watering.

So I enjoyed Paris, we spent most of our time wondering its restaurant lined streets and pondering living in Paris. I always seemed to find myself in awkward situations when I tried practicing my french but you gota learn somehow...
