Jules and I arrived last night ... travel weary but excited! Our flight from Belfast to Newark was grand no delays .. mind you the Flight attendants on Contential Airlines could do with personality transplants. Coming into Newark airport we got a great view of the Statue of Liberty and The Empire State Building.. Ive never been in New York, it was good to see them even when they looked like toys from the air. We had a 5 hour lay over in Newark, which was ok but the shops are rubbish.. great if you want to buy jewels but you'll not find a mozzie net! Our Costa Rica flight was delayed, but had nicer flight attendants, Thankfully we arrived safe and sound at 6am home time .. HA! only 24 hours travelling!! Our first hotel is lovely! Jules and I are sharing a room... dear love her i did disclose before we came, that i snore (like no one else) So no doubt she'll be begging for her own room by the end of the week! We've just had brekkie, again lovely (Im impressed!!) and are going to head into the market area of San Jose ... I really cant carry anymore stuff - i thought id packed really well until i saw Jules bag - its tiny compared with my beast. Thanks for all the lovely emails.
