Sorry about the delay but Central American Internet is unbearably slow. A month ago, we finished our Europe tour. Here are the final Europe highlights:

Dresden, Germany - We loved Dresden! We stayed in the chill part of town where there are like 50 bars in a 1 square km area. Drank local german beer, chilled out, went to a sweet jazz club, watched the locals play football(soccer) etc. The food basically consisted of brats and beer - perfect for our travellers budget, and we were ready for a wine break.

Berlin, Germany - So much to see....Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburgh Gate, Alexanderplatz, etc. We were only in Berlin for a day since we were excited to get to Holland!

Amsterdam, Holland - We both loved Amsterdam!! The canals, the arts, the crazy pedestrian scene, the coffeeshops, the red light district, etc. We saw the Van Gogh museum, the Anne Frank Haus and a cool photography museum as well. The pedestrian scene in Amsterdam is nuts. Buses, cars, above ground trams, and BICYCLES EVERYWHERE!! Bicycles are whizzing by left and right and if you drink too much coffee* you might just crash into one. Super cool vibe as well.

Den Haag, Holland - Stayed with our friends Scott & Hannah for a few days in the Hague and it was great. We went to a cool wine party, ate good food and went to the MC Escher museum, which was AMAZING!! The MC Escher museum in my opinion (I'm Timbo) was the highlight of all the arts we saw anywhere in Europe! Plus I happen to love Escher. They had all of his wood etchings, lithograhphs & sketches was great!

Brugge, Belgium - Probably the coolest city we saw in Europe! Also the best beer we has anywhere in the world hands down! Wow the beers were good!!! Trippels, Dubbels, Krieks most like 11 - 15 percent! Very Tasty. Okay then the chocolates and waffles (topped with ice cream) made for a yummy treat at any point in the day. Pictures don't do justice to how cool this city is. The town was based on many different canals intersecting everywhere, with stone houses and beautiful floral vines. The town was really mellow and it was easy to just wander around and enjoy the day.

Paris, France - Thank goodness Sue speaks French because the Frenchies, Parisians I should say have a little attitude if you don't speak the language. Nevertheless we liked Paris. The Eiffel Tower, The Arch de Triumph, The Louvre. The Mona Lisa was very cool to see for sure and Steak & Fries! So much to see - so little time.

London, England - London is cool but spendy!!! Plus your money is cut in half there. We saw the Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Picadelly Circus, etc. "Look kids there's Big Ben, Parliment!" We also ate Fish N Chips twice and enjoyed a few English ales.

Overall, our favorite part of Europe was spending a month skiing in Switzerland and touring Italy, however, it was great to breeze around via train and check out all the towns and cities listed above. One day, we'll have to come back and spend more quality time and get to see the outskirts!

Now we're off to Costa Rica for our last month of freedom - Pictures will be up in a day or so on Costa.
