This place was amazing.  I did a tour that picked me up at 6 AM.  It took about 3 hours to get to the West Rim of the grand canyon.  We stopped by the Hoover Dam and it was beautiful.  5000 workers built it and over 100 people died during the construction of it.

We went to the part of the grand canyon where the native Americans own the land.  I went to eagle point, which had a rock formation like an eagle.  I also went to guano point, which is opposite an old guano mine.  The views were breathtaking.  There were no fences, so if you fell, you fell.  Some girl fell 3000 ft and died last month bc she was trying to take a picture.

Also, 4 people jumped off the new bridge near the hoover dam in the last few months.  The bridge is party named after a NFL Arizona cardinals, tillman, who gave up 6 million dollars a year to be a special forces soldier in Afghanistan.  He died.

I absolutely loved the grand canyon.  It was carved out by the Colorado river, aka red river, and now the river is a lot smaller.  The guide gave a lot more info on both places but I forget most of it.

I just bought David Copperfield tickets for tomorrow, so I'm excited.

I'm getting caught up after missing a few days and a few countries! We'll have to talk about Australia when you get home. I spent a week there and think they are top 10 for beer world wide and I want to hear your thoughts. Also did you get Hungry Jack Australian style with the fried egg and slice of beat? Did you notice how they have a 7-Eleven on just about every street corner? They are big there. They are the company that sponsored MLE to come over for the Slurpie contest, so I got to visit 3 or 4 cities. Good times! Grand Canyon was my favorite family vacation growing up. Definitely a must see. Cool beans.

Hey Hall! Aussie beer is awesome! I didn't try the Aussie breakfast but that may be a good thing bc I hate beats. I did see tons of 7-11s. I can't wait to catch up with you and see Parker and thanks for keeping up with my blog and posting comments!
