Today we took a tour to masada and the dead sea.

Masada is this giant fortress in the desert mountains king Herod the paranoid built

The shores of the dead sea, which is actually a lake, are the lowest land points on earth, around 400 meters below sea level. We covered ourselves in mud and floated in the sea. You float bc the salt content is 33%, ten times the amount of a typical sea.

We also saw the mountain caves where the dead sea scrolls of the bible were found!
