Today I took the bus from Peru to La Paz, Bolivia.  It is so amazing, La
Paz is a huge city in the mountains.  The police on the street have
machine guns.  The hostel is huge and it has a bar and restaurant in
it.  Tomorrow I plan to book some tours of the salt flats and zip lining
and I plan to walk around La Paz.  I may also go to the silver mine in
Potosi b-c it is the highest city and it has a bell tower like Bruges,
Belgium.  I hope to watch the Superbowl tomorrow at the hostel.  I met a
18 year old brit who loves Tim Tebow.

Feb. 8

Today was adventurous but long (twss).  I woke up at 7 and took a 3 hour
minibus that was packed full of 15 Bolivians and one gringo to
Corrico.  There I took a 15 minute taxi to Yolosa.  I did three zip
lines at the Flying Fox near the end of the Worlds´ Most Dangerous Road
(Death Road) for mountain bikers.   The zip lines were high in the
mountains and over valleys and rivers.  The first one was the highest.
The second  line was the fastest.  The third was the longest.  I got
some sweet pics of me zipping in a OPHS shirt.  Three hour bus ride
back.  I booked a three day two night salt flats tour that starts on
Thursday.  And then to Potosi and the silver mines and it´s the highest
city in the world.  I met some Sweeds and we talked about the Girl with
the Dragon Tattoo and they liked the American film better than the
Swedish film just like me!  If the Oscars snub David Fincher again I´m
going to go loco!
