Heather and I took an early train to Neuchatel. This is where the wine festival will take place. Its the coolest village. Small.... quaint and beautiful. We are staying at Hotel Beaulac. An awesome hotel by the lake. We are in walking distance from the festival. It is too perfect! Heather has no idea what she is in store for this weekend. Last year was incredible. This year should be just as good.

We broke our hotel room in with all our things... took a nap to prepare for the beginning of all the festivities! The festival begins tonight at 7pm. Getting excited! :)

I decided to wear my black pixy wig 2nite. This should be fun! No one will recognize me. Heather brought blinky rings...bracelets.. glitter.. you name it... we will have bling at this party!

What a rockin night it was! Heather and I had a blast. We met sooo many cool people. Danced the night away... then had our own little Timber Heather party back in our room. There was confetti everywhere.. all over us and the floor. The night could not have been any better. I think Heather was trying to take it all in. Cool people.. tunes.. food... overwhelming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday Sept. 24th
Another incredible day. We walked around the festival in the day but saved most our energy for the evening. I went with Ygor and some of his friends to an outlook where you could see the entire city and lake. It was amazing. They are so fortunate to grow up in such an incredible place. The lake... the mountains.. what more could you want.

What a wacky and wonderful evening it was!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of eating...drinking... dancing.. socializing.. Heather and I were dancing queens.. I dont think she has ever danced so much in her life. We had confetti all over us! It was snowing confetti. Just wait till you see the photos. At midnight I turned 29... so I decided to dance ontop of the bar with all the others. It was liberating. I had a blast! I had my cowboy boots on and was celebrating in style. This is a birthday to remember. I cannot remember ever having this much fun in my life. This year far surpasses last year... oh my!!!!

Sunday Sept. 25th
Today is officially my birthday. We slept in today.... these late nights will catch up to you. But you must keep going.. this is a once a year festival. jejej Heather and I pulled ourselves together for one more night of fun. We went to an awesome restaurant called Le Jura Brasserie for Fondue. It was delicious! Then we drank hot tea. It was just lovely. Then we enjoyed champagne for my bday... we did a bday toast. Heather... you really made my bday special. I will never forget this weekend! We walked around and explored for a while until we found some of our swiss friends. We then spent the rest of the evening with them laughing the night away. At 3am we ended up in a Pizzeria.. it was too much fun. Heather and I are sitting with all these french guys. It was hysterical. We laughed so much my stomach hurt. These people really know how to enjoy themselves. They love life!!! :)

This was the most incredible bday weekend. It rocked my world!!! :)
