I have alot of updating to do... let me tell you about this pub crawl first... the title is very fitting... there were children crawling on the ground.. jejej just kidding.. everyone was 18 or 19 yrs old... this wasn't my thing.. but we did get the grand tour of Berlin. So for future reference.. you might pass on the pub crawl. When returning home that evening.. we had to pack our bags and only had 2 hrs of sleep. Our flight for Basel left at 6am. This was sooo rough... i feel like we are either on a plane.. a bus.. a tram.. a subway.. its crazy! Jessica and I are having a blast together... we are good travelers.. we don't mind walking and taking the scenic route.
It is sooo cheap to live in Berlin.. only 200 euros a month.. a little over 200 dollars.. the unemployment rate is at 17% but its unofficially 30%. I guess you could live here for less and just not have a job. 70% of the people living in Berlin are not from here.. there are people from all over. I think it would be really cool to live here for 6 months... learning German would be tough.. but the city has so many hidden treasures.. I really enjoyed my time here!
Oh i must add one more thing.. the cool club we went to on Friday called Dante.. we walked by there on Saturday and were watching people. The door guy only let people in that he thought looked good... i guess in his eyes.. he was soooo rude... i think its terrible to do this... a large group of Americans tried to get in.. and he took one look and said NO.. thats all he said ...No.. they were not dressed for this place.. so maybe that could be a reason.. but it made me sick to my stomach.. sometimes.. i think we live in a cruel society.. its people hating on other people... life is too short for this sort of behavior! I think the door guy must of been beat up as a kid... jejeje :)
